Korean Tamagoyaki (Rolled Omelet) Recipe


This appetizer is very popular and you will find this appetizer in most of the Korean restaurants. There are minced carrots, onions and green onions inside. The best part about this omelet is its size, you can eat this bite-size omelet without getting messy.




*Reminder: In order to roll the omelet without it falling apart, remember to cook the omelet in low heat.

Ingredients: (2 servings)
3 Eggs
1 tbsp milk
1 tbsp minced carrot
1 tbsp minced green onion
1 tbsp minced onion
Pinch pepper
½ tsp salt  
1 tsp oil

Directions:


  1. Get all the veggies ready.
  2. Crack the eggs into a bowl, blend with a fork.
  3. Mix the veggies with the eggs, add pepper and salt.
  4. Heat a small non-stick pan over low-medium heat. Once the pan is hot, add the oil.
  5. Pour the eggs into the center of the pan and wait till the edge of the omelet begins to form a semi-solid mass. Use a rubber spatula to roll up 1/3 of the omelet and slide the rolled portion of the omelet slides away from the center.





  6. Pour more eggs into the pan by the unrolled portion of the omelet.
  7. Once it is done, slice the omelet into 1” pieces and serve immediately.
